Tyler J. Ares serves as President and Chief Investment Officer at Fresh Bread Investments. He is responsible for the firm’s overall operation and management of client portfolios.

Mr. Ares is in his 19th year as a professional investor. Previously, he held the role of Senior Investment Adviser at Joseph Gunnar & Co, a FINRA Broker/Dealer, and SEC Registered Investment Advisor Firm in lower Manhattan. Simultaneously, Tyler held the role of General Partner at the firm’s corresponding venture capital fund(s), Buttonwood Group Advisors. As GP of several funds, he helped lead a series of private investments in Facebook, Twitter, AirBnB, Pinterest, Marqeta, and more.

Prior to this, Tyler was working in London, New York, and Miami as Managing Director of Aegis Capital’s International Client Group, covering UHNW and Institutional clients worldwide. Mr. Ares attended Baruch College in Manhattan, where he studied Economics and Physics. Starting his life in Silicon Valley, Tyler was an early adopter of computers. His family later moved to New York, where he finished school and started his career. Today, he resides in Weston, FL with his wife Rachel, and their two children. Together, they seek to have a positive impact with their various community efforts.
